About the event

This interactive one-day training event is tailored for early career researchers who want to understand 3D+ microscopy data, learn the basics of image analysis, or explore biomedical image analysis as a career path. The course will primarily focus on data from transgenic zebrafish, derived from past research in developmental biology and drug treatment studies, though the general principles taught are applicable to data from any cell source (e.g., plants, tissue sections).

The workshop is highly interactive, providing participants with ample opportunities to discuss the work and build connections. After an initial one-hour lecture, approximately three hours are dedicated to interactive image analysis training, featuring regular discussions, reflections, and question time. Networking opportunities will be available during the lunch break. The afternoon Industry Partner Session will offer insights into imaging and image analysis applications.
