Dr Elisabeth Kugler is a scientist who has worked internationally with image-based data for over a decade. She has always been enthralled by science and art. She is passionate about all things data and is subject matter expert in microscopy, image analysis, and lie sciences.

Elisabeth leads the company, shapes client experiences, and is in charge of training delivered by Zeeks.

With over 20 years of experience in R&D across bioengineering, Dr Emmanuel Reynaud has worked in three countries and four languages, contributing to product development, patents, and international teaching. His expertise spans various technology fields, with a sharp focus on feasibility analysis and carbon impact assessment.

He is a Zeeks affiliate scientists with strong subject matter expertise, R&D biotech knowledge, and international business acumen.

Dr Jan Brocher leads Biovoxxel, a company

offering workshops on image processing and analysis for young scientists. Furthermore, BioVoxxel provides customized trainings and automated solutions for digital image processing.

BioVoxxel also offers image integrity assessment for publication figures, as well as illustration services.

Marco Garbelli has a PhD from the University of Zurich. During his scientific PhD he discovered a passion for visual science communication. Since 2021, Marco works as a graphic illustrator Facts and Reasons. He is currently establishing himself in the science visualization field and as scientific digital illustrator (Linktree).

In 2022 he joined team Zeeks and deliver bespoke digital illustrations and training.

Stefan Meichtry is a chemical engineer and microscopist from Switzerland. He works with a Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and doesn’t like black and white images. That’s why he collaborates with other artists to bring a little more colour into this world.

Together with Langley Anderson, he provides SEM sciArt and design thinking guidance for Zeeks.

Langley Anderson has a Master of Fine Arts in studio art, concentrating on photography, from Radford University. ​Her work has been exhibited internationally and has received awards from Jeol USA, Photographer’s Forum, Tokyo International Foto Awards, and the Nikon Small World Photomicrography Competition. Langley works as a free-lance photographer and teaches in the Department of Visual Art & Design at Southeastern Louisiana University.

Together with Stefan, she provides SEM sciArt and delivers Zeeks webinars.

Biochemist with research experience in molecular and structural biology of proteins in the fields of immunology, drug discovery, and enzymology. After his MSCA postdoctoral fellowship in Sheffield, Domen moved to the Basel area, returning to the private sector as a freelance business development & project manager for biotech.
At Zeeks, Domen provides BDM, PM and scientific services to support business growth and develop strategic partnerships.

Mike Gowen is director of Neutral Electrical Solutions and member of the Zeeks Board of Trustees. Mike brings over a decade of UK business experience to the team.

His attention to detail shapes the Zeeks strategy, customer experience, and implemented systems.

With years of experience in research, management and marketing, Julian has a thorough understanding of the science and technology landscape and markets, such as life science, biotech, instrumental analysis, and battery tech. With a Ph.D. in engineering, patents and publications in the field of analytical chemistry, he also has a solid scientific background.
