Media Partnership: CVB2027
Building the Brand, Infrastructure, and Communications Backbone for a Scientific Conference
Context
For the 16th International Cerebral Vascular Biology conference in 2027 (CVB2027, London, UK), Zeeks was engaged to develop conference communications, including systems, positioning, and execution. This meant operating across branding, digital infrastructure, and scientific communications, with the understanding that this was not a one-off launch but a multi-year trajectory toward a 2027 event.
Zeeks was engaged to deliver the end-to-end foundation for CVB2027: from brand identity and visual assets to backend setup, platform readiness, and social media infrastructure - ensuring the project was scalable, coherent, and future-proof.

Context: CVB2027 as a Recurrent Science Conference
CVB2027 will be the 16th event. Meaning the conference has established credibility, positioning, and traction across the globe. Thus, any strategy or content developed needed to:
-
align with existing conferences from previous years
-
provide infrastructure that would support future growth, partnerships, and content
-
be low friction for organisers as the project scaled
This required a partner who thinks in conference lifecycles, not campaigns.
The Challenge: Preparing to Scale
-
Developing a new visual identity which reflected the event taking place in London, UK, while still aligning with visual from previous years.
-
Developing new digital and social infrastructure (e.g. email account, event website, etc).
-
New systems for future dissemination, onboarding, or content expansion to ensure accessibility over years.
Crucially, CVB2027 did not need “science marketing assets”. It needed a coherent operational and communications foundation that could evolve over multiple years without the need to rework.
Zeeks’ Role: Full-Stack Conference Enablement
Zeeks delivered a 3-month intensive project covering branding, infrastructure, and communications setup.
1. Branding and Logo Development
Zeeks designed the CVB2027 brand identity and logo, ensuring:
-
visual restraint appropriate for an expert audience
-
flexibility across digital, print, and future sponsor materials
-
a branding system that was designed to scale, such as future sub-events, programmes, and content streams
2. Visual Assets and Brand System
Beyond the logo, Zeeks created a suite of visual assets, including:
-
social media templates
-
website-ready graphics and imagery
-
presentation and dissemination assets
This ensured consistency across all channels from day one, reducing future overhead and fragmentation.
3. Digital Infrastructure and Backend Setup
A defining aspect of this project was backend enablement, often overlooked but critical for conference success.
Zeeks supported:
-
domain and website setup together with the team at Invajo (CVB2027.com)
-
structural planning for content, updates, and future expansions
-
integration readiness for future ticketing, submissions, or partner content
This work ensured the organisers were not locked into brittle or short-term solutions.
4. Social Media Accounts and Platform Readiness
Zeeks established CVB2027’s social media presence, including:
-
account creation and configuration
-
profile positioning and bios
-
visual consistency with the brand system
-
readiness for future content, announcements, and live coverage
The emphasis was on infrastructure, not posting.

Outcomes
By the end of the initial engagement, CVB2027 had:
-
a credible, recognisable scientific brand
-
a functional website
-
consistent, reusable visual assets
-
professional social media channels ready for activation
Most importantly, the project was positioned to scale cleanly rather than accumulate complexity.
Ongoing and Future Support
Zeeks will continue to support CVB2027 as it progresses toward the 2027 event, including:
-
ongoing science communication and dissemination
-
content strategy and execution
-
conference-phase media support
-
infrastructure evolution as requirements mature
This reflects Zeeks’ operating model of creating long-term partnerships.
As research becomes increasingly interdisciplinary and data-intensive, the role of expert-led science communication will only grow. At Zeeks, we remain committed to ensuring that complex science is communicated with clarity, integrity, and respect.
